Shipping & Shop Policies

Payment

All prices shown are in Australian Dollars. 
International customers please note, the final price will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your credit or debit card or payment service company.

Payments accepted via PayPal, EFT, or over the phone using eftpos. Credit card payments can be made through PayPal as a guest user. You do not require a PayPal account. Simply follow the prompts through the PayPal link.

Deliveries


Most items are made to order, and will take up to 5 days to complete and dispatch.

Please allow up to 14 days for custom-made items, including custom sizes. You will be advised within 48 hours how long your custom order will take.

Please feel free to ask before purchase about expected delivery times, especially for time-dependent purchases (birthdays, anniversaries etc).

Shipping within Australia

Items will be sent via Australia Post Express Post $15 (postage and handling) with tracking. Please check the Australia Post website for expected delivery times to your area.

Signature On Delivery and Insurance are available upon request, please contact me for a quote.

International Shipping

Items will be posted via Australia Post International Standard Mail. Standard Post is $25. Tracking available.

Please check the Australia Post website for prices and expected delivery times to your area.

For Express Post, please contact me for options prior to purchase.

You will be notified by email with your invoice and when the item(s) are shipped.

Please note, International shipments may be subject to import duties and tax levies once the shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient; I do not control these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

Please keep in mind that postal and customs delays can significantly alter estimated delivery times.

Oceanides has no control over postal and customs services and cannot be held responsible for delays or for lost or stolen packages.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Returns/refunds are generally not accepted due to a change of mind.

I do understand shopping online can be difficult, especially when gift shopping, so I do offer an exchange where possible... see below.

If there is a problem with your purchased product please contact me with details to begin the refund/exchange process.

Exchanges are available for a change of mind e.g. colour, chain length, bangle size.

Exchange for size: This may not be available for some designs. If an exchange or resize is possible, you may exchange for a different size 5 business days after receiving your package. Additional fees may apply. 

Please note, it may take up to 2 weeks to have a new size made.

The following rules apply to accepted refunds/exchanges...
Items must be returned within 5 business days of receiving your package.

The item must be in its original condition. Exchanges or refunds will not be accepted if the product is damaged or worn.

Customers will be responsible for all shipping & re-shipping charges for exchanges.

Cash on Delivery returns will not be accepted.

I recommend that you send the items back to me using a method of postage that can be tracked. I cannot be responsible for lost, damaged or missing parcels.

All items are your responsibility until they reach my return address.

The refund will be processed within 5 days of the returned merchandise being received by me. Please note that it may then take 3-5 working days for the refund to reach your account.

Refunds are not guaranteed until the product is assessed for fault.

Repairs
Repairs to damaged goods are assessed by case and may incur a fee. Customers will be responsible for all shipping & re-shipping charges for repairs, unless a product fault or failure has occurred. Please contact me before returning an item for repair. 

Disclaimer
Each piece is handmade, consequently there may be small variations in some stock items from those pictured. This is mentioned in the product information especially for the Aluma cuff and earrings (anodised aluminium), and the Form and Float ranges (patina). I do my best to accurately describe and depict the colour, however, some variation can occur.

Your consumer rights
My goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

I aim to resolve issues quickly and with care and understanding. If you are unhappy with your purchase or any service received please reach out. As a maker, it is important to me that my jewellery is worn and appreciated and I will do my utmost to rectify any issue.
